Summer Treats with Target

Hooray for summer break! After the long year we had, mostly cooped up inside, I’m excited for this break. I really wanted to treat the girls to a special day so I ran to my local Target and noticed they have a new brand called Favorite Day. They offer ice cream, bakery items, trail mixes and snacks.

They had so many neat ice cream flavors as well as some dairy-free options. They also had ice cream cones and a variety of toppings. So I grabbed all the supplies needed to make ice cream sundaes with the girls.

Then I DIY’d a fun little ice cream cart to make the day extra special! I figure they can use it for pretend play all summer long. Then I picked up this cute plastic pink table from Target as well as these pink plastic mini bowls to put all their sundae toppings in. Target is seriously a one stop shop for all your summer needs.

When the girls saw the ice cream cart and all the yummy treats they were so excited. They couldn’t wait to start putting together their ice cream cones and sundaes. I was so happy they loved it. After a long year it’s nice to indulge and treat them to something special.

Favorite Day also has a wide variety of bakery items such as cookies, scones, cupcakes and breads. I picked up a variety pack of cookies so the girls could make cookie ice cream sandwiches.

I also picked up some trail mix for the girls to snack on or use as toppings on their ice cream sundaes. The S’mores Trail Mix was a hit! They girls loved it. We also tried the Neapolitan Sundae Trail Mix which was delicious. Excited to pick up some more flavors to try.

Next time you stop by Target be sure to check out the Favorite Day brand. I already can’t wait to go back and stock up on some more snacks for summer. I don’t always shop in store, sometimes I shop online or via the Target app, so that’s is an option as well.
