Pencil Cookies for Back to School

How cute are these cookies?! A simple and easy little treat you can make with your littles for back to school.

What you need:

Wafer cookies

Frosting

Food coloring

Mini chocolate chips or black frosting

Butter knife

Piping bags (optional)

All you have to do is cut your wafter cookies on one side to have a pointed tip like a pencil.

Then color your frosting pink for the eraser. We used a piping bag to pipe the frosting on but, you could just use a butter knife and spread it on. It will come out just as cute either way.

Then add some white frosting to the top of your cookie pencil.

Then we added mini chocolate chips for the pencil lead but you could also use black frosting.

And that’s it! The cutest little back to school treat! My girls has a lot of fun making….and eating these cute little cookies. Enjoy!
