Homemade Basil Pesto


This is a dairy free, vegan pesto!! It is my favorite homemade pesto recipe ever!! It taste so much better than anything you can buy at the store. It takes only a few minutes to whip it up and you can put it on anything! I put it on zoodles, salad, eggs, if I broil salmon I will just throw some of this pesto on top! You can put it on anything, it is sooo good!!

Ingredients

3 cups of basil

Juice of one small lemon

1/3 cup pine nuts

2 med garlic cloves peeled

3/4 teaspoons salt

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Put all ingredients into a food processor, blend until smooth.

Depending on how fresh your garlic is or how large your lemon is will give a different outcome. This recipe is easily adjustable to you preference. For me I add the juice of 1 and a half small lemons, and a tad bit more salt. So feel free to add or subtract to get the prefect flavor for you.
