Halloween Home

I'm excited to share some festive areas of our home. This is my first year really decorating for Halloween. Previously, I only did a harvest theme. Charlie was still young and I thought spooky things might be too scary for her. Well, this year they both talked me into buying all the spooky things and I have to say, I love the way it turned out!

This is one of my favorite spots in the house to add festive touches to. This year I did an easy and low cost DIY with these wall letters. They are so fun because you can paint them any color scheme and do any fun seasonal saying you want. If you want the tutorial for this you can find it saved to my highlights on my Instagram feed. I always have this little basket in the kitchen. I just add festive items to it like, paper straws, paper plates, cookies from our favorite cookie shop Frost Your Cookie and other cute items that pertain to the season.

This chalkboard is from Hobby Lobby, I just write a new saying or quote on it each season. I also keep a little oils station here with my favorite Fall oils.

They girls spotted this guy at Home Depot and wouldn't let me leave without him. We also added some webbing and spiders from the dollar store for some simple and low cost decor.

Adding digital pintable's is another great way to add fun decor to your home without spending a ton of money. This cute witch print is from Shop with grace and joy

We DIY'd our Trick or Treat bags this year. Which was so fun! The tutorial is saved to my highlights on my Instagram feed.

These prints were a digital download from Indy and Pippa and the garland is from Pearl and Jane.

We get all of our seasonal books from our local library, which is a great free resource. Boo print is from Indy and Pippa, Hey ghoul's wooden sign from Chalk Designs by Me and the "I put a spell on you" print is from Opal Plus Olive.

Bows are by Indy and Pippa and the bag is our DIY Trick or Treat bag.

I love putting together a fun holiday themed smore's tray! We made homemade graham cracker bats, just added some cocoa powder to make them dark.
